Canteen Magazine Presents: Hot Authors A Photo Exhibit, Panel Discussion and Launch Party.

Featuring: Tao Lin, Fiona Maazel, Christopher Kouloris, and Erin Hosier, moderated by Garth Risk Hallberg.

At one time, writers were sex symbols, cultural icons, rock stars. And today? Witness a numbing parade of overpaid and under-talented actors, musicians, and athletes crassly promoted through sex and provocation.

Canteen Magazine’s Hot Authors project combines the literary with the lascivious, the genius with the glam. Come celebrate the launch of their 7th Issue, in which they’ve paired 16 brilliant authors with 16 lauded art photographers. Each photograph mixes brains and beauty and is accompanied  by a question: “What’s the hottest thing you’ve ever read?”

Party to follow Panel discussion, with live music from Year of the Tiger and Gunfight, DJs, and complimentary drinks.
