Free Night of Theater 2011

Come celebrate and explore Off and Off Off Broadway theater! Join hundreds of NYC artists, theater companies and service organizations in a festive celebration with FREE performances. During the entire month of October, performing arts organizations from across the five boroughs will be offering free tickets as a way of introducing new audiences to New York City’s diverse Off Broadway, Independent Theater, Music and Dance communities. Starting September 30-October 7, enter to win tickets for performances between October 17-31. You will be asked to choose your top five preferences and then will be placed into a lottery with a chance to win up to five picks.

Free Night of Theater is an annual program of Theatre Communications Group (TCG), in partnership with the Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (A.R.T./New York); the Arts & Business Council (ABC); and the League of Independent Theatres (LIT), New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) and Theatre Development Fund (TDF).

Free Night of Theater is made possible, through the support of the City of New York Department of Cultural Affairs, and Council of the City of New York, and Theatre Development Fund (TDF).
