BECOME A PART OF THE BIGGEST PRIDE CELEBRATION IN THE WORLD!

The first March was held in 1970 and has since become an annual civil rights demonstration. Over the years its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to illness, violence and neglect.

The March is a celebration of our lives and our community. In 2013, we were joined by over 300 unique marching contingents, representing a vast array of non-profits, community organizations, corporate sponsors, small businesses, political candidates and activists! With over 50 floats making the trek down Fifth Avenue, last year’s March was one of the largest and most exciting in history.

Interested in performing on one of our stages? Send all talent submissions to talent@nycpride.org.

The Grand Marshals

Laverne Cox     Rea Carey     Jonathan Groff

We’re honored to announce Laverne Cox, Rea Carey and Jonathan Groff will be joining us this year as our 2014 Grand Marshals. Individually, they represent the diversity within the LGBT community and the various struggles our community members have and continue to face. Collectively, their stories reinforce that no voice is too small nor weak to make change in our world – and it starts with being yourself.

About Andrew McDonald

Andrew McDonald is not a billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. He actually works way too many jobs, but he started The Review Zoo and helps at Living Free NYC because he had an opinion he wanted to share and a party he wanted to find. He found people equally opinionated to join him and cool ass place to go through Danielle. Currently he is working on a web series and a comic book.
