The US Open officially kicks off on Aug. 25, and they want New Yorkers to get a taste of the action – literally – well before the tournament starts.
A US Open Gourmet #FlavorOfTheOpen Food Truck will be making select stops throughout New York City from Aug. 11 to Aug. 13, serving up free signature dishes and new menu items that can be found around the grounds at this year’s event. Featuring cuisine creations from US Open celebrity chefs David Burke and Richard Sandoval, each stop will serve three items and those who attend will be able to select one.
In addition to the food, foodies and fans alike can take a photo with the US Open trophies on Aug. 11 in Madison Square Park. Those in attendance will also have the chance to win prizes and receive giveaways, as well as purchase US Open tickets with a special Ticketmaster discount code.
The US Open Food Truck will be making the following stops throughout New York City:
Aug. 11 beginning at 12 p.m. – Madison Square Park
Aug. 12 beginning at 12 p.m. – Union Square
