FANGORIA will be hosting a free screening of THE EXORCISM OF MOLLY HARTLEY, the demonic possession sequel, in New York City on Monday, October 19th at 7 p.m. This special unrated showing will be held at spook house Mecca Times Scare, New York City’s only year-round haunted attraction. As a special Halloween season bonus, all those attending will be invited to tour Times Scare at a Fango-discounted rate of $20 after watching THE EXORCISM OF MOLLY HARTLEY!

This exclusive event is presented by our pals at Fox Home Entertainment, who releases THE EXORCISM OF MOLLY HARTLEY to Blu-ray and DVD on October 20th.

A sequel to the 2008 hit THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY, the follow-up was helmed by Steven R. Monroe (I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE) from a screenplay by Matt Venne (FRIGHT NIGHT 2). The movie stars Sarah Lind (WOLFCOP), Devon Sawa (FINAL DESTINATION) and Gina Holden (SAW 3D). For those unfamiliar with this visceral sequel, here’s the official synopsis…

Molly Hartley (Lind) is all grown up, but the unholy demon inside her lives on in this all-new, UNRATED sequel that takes terror to the next level! Six years after graduating high school—and discovering that a secret pact assigned her soul to the devil—Molly is suspected of murder and confined to a mental hospital, where she wreaks supernatural havoc on the staff and patients. Her only hope is an exorcism by a defrocked priest (Sawa) looking to redeem himself and save Molly’s life before her hideous “transformation” is complete… but Satan has other plans!
