Join Freddy’s as they help Luch Magazine celebrate their final issue titled “one Shot.” The celebration will include entertainment by Brooklyn roots stalwart John Pinamonti, to Famous actor Craig ‘muMs’ Grant, & topping with Brooklyn-based francophonic rockers – Les Sans Culottes. The night will be taken into the sunrise with DJ Ben the Beyonder. Free issues of the triannual magazine, as well as past issues will be given away. All events are FREE!
Lurch magazine started in 1994 and was once called Lurch Magazine -“A magazine for drunks by drunks” by The New York Times. Lurch was born in the bowels of the now closed, then dark & wonderful & very literary O’Connors bar. The Magazine & it’s cover artist ( Donald O’Finn / now Freddy’s co-owner & then O’Connor’s bartender) quickly migrated over to Freddy’s bar at it’s old location.
