Afro-Punk has joined forces with uptown co-horts Bronx Underground to present a FREE SHOW with a unique sense of community, DIY, unifying boros, genres and sub-cultures. The show is presented by Virgin Mobile and seeks to get the community involved with Virgin Mobile’s RE*Generation initiative to help homeless youth.

Join them on Friday, August 13 at The First Lutheran Church of Throggs Neck for this all ages show. Bands include Anamanaguchi, A Moment’s Worth, The City Strikes Back, The Day Before and Made In March.

At the show, there will be opportunities to sign up to volunteer for youth homelessness and score free tickets, transportation and two nights of hotel rooms for Virgin Mobile Freefest: September 25 in Columbia, Maryland. Featuring: Thievery Corporation, Pavement, M.I.A, Jimmy Eat World, Joan Jett, Yeasayer, Matt & Kim, LCD Soundsystem and more!

Donate hygiene supplies for homeless youth and win!
