Bags for the People and 3rd Ward have partnered up to bring you “Sweatshop Socials” every last Monday of each month, from 7 to 10pm. You bring the fun and the fabric; we’ll provide the sewing machines, instruction, drinks($1 if you bring a cup, $3 if you don’t), snacks and live music. ‘Cause everybody knows plastic is passe. It is sure to be a good one with home brewed beer, music from Lady Magma. You should definitely check out this event. Livingfree went to their event last week @ SpaceCraft and we had a blast. Glen, one of the founders of Bags for the people is very patient and a great teacher for all of you novices at sewing. Oh and you should definitely check out the great home brewed beer by Matt Miller.
