3rd Ward is offering a free, monthly, theme-based lecture series. In conjunction with The Mad Science Issue they’ll inaugurate this program with the Science of the Everyday inspired by the work of Michael Faraday. This weeks lecture will be Biophysics at the Nanoscale. In this lecture they will review the current state of our understanding of molecular biology, as well as some current trends and techniques that explore biological systems at the nanoscale. Tonight’s Lecture will be led by Matt Fagerburg a PhD student in molecular biophysics at the University of Pittsburgh.
