Join TV pioneer & 20-time Emmy Award-winner Phil Donahue as NYCLU Young Professionals, screens his highly acclaimed film, Body of War. Following the 82-minute film (which will start at 6 pm sharp) and 5 minute intermission, Phil will lead an interactive discussion with the audience.

Synopsis:

On a rescue mission traveling through Sadr City during his first week in Iraq, US Army soldier Tomas Young – then 24 – was shot in the spine, paralyzed from the chest down. The day was April 4, 2004.

Refreshments (not wine and beer) will be available for purchase.
