Kings County Cinema Society would like to invite you to a special screening tonight in honor of Black History Month: a showing of the recent documentary Before They Die (2008, 80min), a documentary about the forgotten Tulsa Race Riot of 1921, during which white mobs, with the support of police and the National Guard, laid siege to segregated neighborhoods of Tulsa and left over 300 dead in the worst case of domestic terrorism in US history. Before They Die, directed by Reginald Turner and St. Claire Bourne, follows the living survivors and their fight for justice and compensation.

Film begins at 7:00 pm tonight!
