“Contemporary Art: by a Selection of Indian Artists” will consist of approximately 19 pieces that are emblematic of the modernism and traditional aspects of today’s Indian art. The artwork, though made by mostly emerging Indian artists, is not characteristic of art specifically from the region. When you… do come and see the show you may notice how an artist from a suburb of New Delhi can express her viewpoint on a piece of canvas and communicate with a New Yorker without even saying a single word.

The exhibition is open to everyone from August 24 – September 2, 2010 on Tuesday – Saturday from 11 am – 5 PM.
