Crush presents StreetLab, Pharoah, Sepalcure, and CTRALTDEL DJ Set

From the site:

Ok so last month’s show with Toro Y Moi, Twin Sister, and Grandchildren was incredible & totally sold out! Let’s do it all over again! Up next in our “music we crush on” series:

StreetLab
StreetLab’s Lamorg and Leary started out mixing classic rock songs with jagged electro-house breaks, like taking famous songs from The Doors and adding a healthy dose of fistpump, or blasting Credance Clearwater rock ballads with a supersonic laser gun. Pretty soon, labels came a-knockin for official remixes, and the talented duo spent the next few years remixing tracks for Mixel Pixel, Professor Murder. and Thieves Like Us, and creating their own versions of songs made famous by everyone from Nine Inch Nails and Hot Chip to Led Zeppelin and Bob Marley. But above all, we have a crush on their original material, like NYSound, and Rat Racer. With their first album set to drop in April, we can’t WAIT to see them lay it down at Crush.

Pharoah
After years of playing different instruments, Ernesto Pantin aka Pharaoh started producing and DJing at the age of 17 in his home country of Venezuela. He found his true medium in the mixer, and jumped on the express highway of Electronic Dance Music. Not only has he produced and DJed for many Hip Hop acts, such as 3 Dueños, Dj Trece, Budu, etc, but he also was the founding member of Todosantos (Flamin Hotz Records). Since relocating to Brooklyn, Pharaoh has become famous for his Salvation Army parties and collaborations with such artists as Cardopusher, Krames, Ninja Sonik, and Dev79

Sepalcure
Sepalcure’s combination of love for bass and 90s house acapellas is the culmination of a cathartic two week collaboration between Machinedrum and Praveen. Their mix of tribal dub, house and two step beats works equally well for both late nights in the club and rainy, introspective nights at home. Detroit techno chords cut through wooden beats, neon synths and dubbed out atmospherics. Future lovestep.
