Going to the excellent Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art Festival this weekend? Well Jim Hanley’s Universe in Manhattan is only a few blocks away from this year’s festival location!

In addition to carrying a deep stock of a full range of self-published and independent comics from hundreds of local and international creators, JHU in Manhattan will also be holding several must-see events in the days leading up to MOCCA, including EXCLUSIVE signings and events featuring some of the best independent comic creators from around the globe!

On Thursday April 8, Starting at 6pm, Jim Hanley’s Universe proudly presents Hope Larson, Abby Denson, Paige Pumphrey, Monica Gallagher, Katie Skelly, Colleen, Frakes, Lucy Kinsley, and their own Rachel Freire for the First Annual Pre-MOCCA Women in Comics Signing.
