Come and celebrate our last First Friday of the year. For the first time they will be having live music for First Friday with local rock trio Photon Dynamo and the Shiny Pieces, and DJ Digiwiz.   Join the artists & friends of the American Garbage  BETA Space Group show, who will also host a presentation of music, poetry and spoken word.

“It’s great to have so many talented people close by.  Bushwick is home to some great performers and artists,” said Karin Persan, owner of Better Than Jam. “It’s so wonderful to have a space to showcase them every month.”

At this monthly event you can mingle with the designers of BTJ, sip on complimentary beverages, and come see wonderful artwork from local artists.  This month Georgina Queruel will be installing her colorful collages.  The glamorous Miss Fleury Rose will be doing fabulous nails at Tomahawk Salon, where you can get specials on fantastic hair stylings.  Better Than Jam will have an extra special sale for holiday shoppers, as well as a few special gifts for the big spenders.  Some of the co-op members will even be teaching small workshops, so you can learn to make some gifts on your own.

“People should take advantage of this pre-holiday sale,” continued Persan. “Grab some gifts, and a little something special for yourself!  Everyone can use a new holiday outfit.”
