ThAlign Lefte playful and talented Citigrass returns to the stage with blistering chops and fun songs. The Hilary Hawke will bring her banjo love directly into the blood stream. 9:30pm- Citigrass- There are many bluegrass bands in New York, but there can be only one CITIGRASS! CITIGRASS specializes in mixing bluegrass, rock, folk, Celtic and world music to create their own style of “Urban Bluegrass,” blending rock and jam influences with traditional bluegrass to create a hot, modern sound. In addition to several guest visits from Mike Gordon (Phish), the band has shared the stage with Yonder Mountain String Band, Double Trouble, Railroad Earth, and many other artists. CITIGRASS has struck a nerve within the pulse of the entertainment industry. Their latest recording Serpent in the Grass slithered its way into the TOP 20 CMJ CHARTS. Citigrass is also notorious for their well chosen cover songs by Elvis Presley, The Pointer Sisters, Sir Mix-A-Lot and Johnny Cash. Fierce pickers, ferocious performers and well…fun!
