“Perhaps it was the delicious (free) grilled corn on the cob (num num num), or perhaps the sunny (yet breezy) rooftop environment, or perhaps it was the great music… or perhaps it was the lovely people and the conversational atmosphere, or perhaps it was being able to watch the beautiful sunset… or perhaps a combination of everything – but last Sunday was a blast, and our only concern about the future of this party is that we are running out of Summer Sundays…
We return this week with DJ Emch (Subatomic Sound System) and DJ Pepe (Electric Lila), who will be playing dub, dancehall, roots, reggae & global beats. We still have the free grilled corn on the cob (we ran out a little early last week due to heavy demand, but there will be more this time, we promise), $4 Coronas and $7 Caipirinhas.
This week will be the listening party for the wonderful funk-soul-jazz-hip-hop outfit, Coolooloosh (from Israel). We’ll be playing tracks from their new album from 5pm-6pm, and they will be giving us a live performance at 7.30pm.
