Continuing with their outdoor summer series at Ortine Cafe Kings County Cinema Society presents Barbara Stanwyck month! For the month of June they will host a series of films in honor of Brooklyn’s own legendary, versatile star of the screen. Tonight’s movie will be The Lady Eve (1941, 90min), Preston Sturges’ screwball classic, with sexed-up Stanwyck conning, then falling for, a hapless Henry Fonda. One of the all-time great battle-of-the-sexes comedies.
