The winners of the 2010 New York Book Festival will read passages from their award-winning works at the Cornelia Street Cafe, the famed spoken word/poetry/music mecca. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served from 6-8 p.m. This showcase is free and open to the public.

Headlining the show will be the acclaimed spoken word artist Lemon Andersen, whose “County of Kings” is the grand prize winner of the 2010 event. Andersen has just returned from an engagement in Amsterdam and will perform from his critically hailed one-man show, which the New York Times said “electrifies…like unexpected lightning.”
