Run for your lives! 3rd Ward Open Call Early Entry winner, Steven Brahms, is presenting THE SURVIVAL PROJECT at 3rd Ward.
In an age of great technological progress and instant gratification, Steven’s arresting photographs remind us of our deep and primal knowledges. In The Evasion Studies, the images call to mind action film stills or photojournalism, but the narrative is absent, the facts are suspended, and what came before and what will follow remains in question. Featured still-lifes convey the fringes of society, items fraught with curiosities, paranoias and dreams.
Come celebrate Steven’s multi-part work and explore his unique vision of contemporary man’s relationship with nature and himself.
