Escape from the humdrum of the workweek and enter into the world of ideas…and simple fun. Join us at PiPs as we celebrate the first instantiation of our brand new quarterly, The Bad Version, with food and drink, rollicking tunes, good conversation, and, if the spirit moves you, even ping-pong.

You’ll be able to check out the new issue hot off the presses, and for next to nothing ($9), you’ll be able to take it home with you. There is no cover charge for the event. All are invited. All are welcome.

About The Bad Version:

The Bad Version is a cultural magazine that seeks to foster conversations about the world we live in through the fiction, poetry, and essays of the young and curious. Taking its name from the collaborative art of screenwriting, where the first concept of a scene, that wild idea that begins the conversation, is called a “bad version,” the magazine is likewise dedicated to first concepts, to pieces that are taking risks, trying to broach new ideas, experimenting with new forms, starting new conversations. Its first issue features 160 packed pages of fiction, poetry, and essays—and incredible art!  To learn more about the magazine, check out our website (www.thebadversion.com) or email contact@thebadversion.com.
