Come down to the closing reception for the The First Brooklyn Pride Art Show, curated by Angela Jimenez . The Art Show was the first display of artwork ever held at the annual Brooklyn Pride Festival in Park Slope. It was a new experiment in publicly showing work created by Brooklyn’s queer community and there are plans to vastly expand the concept for at the Festival in the future. The show features works by Nancy Brooks Brody, Angela Jimenez, Syd London, Julie Mack, Grace Moon, Sherley Camille Olopherne, Fierce Pussy and Nikki Terry.
