Ultra: Soothing lights. Aromatherapy. Feng Shui. These items are de rigueur at spas all over town. But at a velvet-roped nightclub? Who knew? According to owner Tommy Tardie (of Fuelray fame), Ultra is designed to tempt all of the senses. The space is clean, understated, and chic. Black and white films flash silently on the wall while the crowd grooves to a mix of ’80s and hip-hop. The VIP section is a raised platform in the back, the “tree house,” from which you and a couple dozen of your friends can look down on the hoi polloi.
