The Westin New York Grand Central has launched a weekly interactive series of complimentary culinary and wellness experiences for hotel guests and neighboring New Yorkers alike. Westin Wednesdays free events feature special food tastings, as well as interactive events including cheese tastings with New York favorite Murray’s Cheese, NYC Travel Tips and Q&A with the hotel’s Travel Ambassador Lisa Loverro and wine tastings hosted by the hotel’s restaurant, THE LCL: Bar & Kitchen.
The event kicked off November 6 with complimentary Starbucks coffee tastings hosted by the hotel’s Food & Beverage Director. Upcoming events include:
- November 13: Cheese tasting station featuring New York favorite Murray’s Cheese, including Q&A to promote Murray’s Cheeses of the Month served in The LCL: Bar & Kitchen.
- November 20: Chef Brian Weiler cooking demo with recipes that incorporate Superfoods, including tastings and Q&A with the Chef.
- November 27: Complimentary tastings of wines by the glass, hosted by THE LCL: Bar & Kitchen and hotel managers
