The convergence of social structures and landscape-based research is the foundation of Deborah Farnault’s work, while showing a very strong interest in popular culture and collective practices. She develops her work on the border of social documentation mainly through the use of photography, and silkscreen printing. At Littlefield Gallery, she will show her current research that mixes collages, gouache and silkscreen prints. Deborah addresses the ideas of landscape, romanticism, representation, collective memory, and authenticity of experience.
