The Young People’s Chorus of New York City conducted by Francisco J. Núñez will participate with four Latino choruses in La Sociedad Coral Latinoamericana’s Third Chorus Concert, this year honoring Hernando Merchand, who developed the Santa Rosa of Lima’s Grupo Coral America. Other choruses taking part are Coral Ecumenica Cantico Nuevo, a Methodist church choir; Cantoria Saint Joseph from St. Joseph Church in Palisades, NJ; and Coro de Camara San Pablo from the Methodist United San Pablo Church in Queens
