Just wanted to let everyone know that Jack Grace and Mike Neer put together the 1st annual NYC Lap Steel Guitar Festival in honor of the late Drew Glackin, taking place at the Rodeo Bar in NYC (www.rodeobar.com) on November 14 and 15. They’ve booked some great talent for these shows, including Fred Kinbom, as well as Sacred Steel player Dan Tyack from Seattle, Hip Hop band Slo-Mo featuring Mic Wreckawith Mike Brenner from Philadelphia, The Jack Grace Band featuring yours truly, Nation Beat playing Brazilian-infused music, Tiki Daddy playing vintage Hawaiian and old-time tunes and some surprise guests.

There’s also a strong prospect of workshops being held in the afternoon of both days at Rodeo Bar.

Please, mark this in your calendars–it’s going to be a blow-out weekend with some great music and hanging out. No cover charge for the shows. There will be a charge for the workshops, though, TBD.

Jack Grace Band -11:30PM
Slo-Mo featuring Mic Wrecka -10:15PM
Dan Tyack -9PM
