History Channel’s Swamp People:“Taste of the Bayou” Food Truck

Thanks to Zagat we found out that we will have another week of delicious Free Food! To kick off the launch of the new season of their series Swamp People the History Channel is heading to NYC with the ever popular food truck. They will be giving away free delicious cajun treats from March 28 to 30 in their “Taste of the Bayou” Food Truck.

Monday, 3/28—noon stop on Lexington Avenue at 52nd Street; 5 p.m. stop on Park Avenue at 40th Street. Special offering: red beans and rice with smoke nutria sausage.

Tuesday, 3/29—noon stop on Sixth Avenue at 41st Street; 5 p.m. stop on Seventh Avenue at 31st Street. Special offering: crawfish étoufée with rice.

Wednesday, 3/30—noon stop in Financial District on east side of Bowling Green Plaza; 5 p.m. stop at 40th Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. Special offering: venison jambalaya.

Thursday, 3/31—noon stop at Union Square,North Plaza; 5 p.m. stop on Ninth Avenue at 14th Street. Special offering: fricasée of swamp rabbit and wild mushrooms.
