Kicking off our series in Downtown BK, we present daring shorts by local filmmakers.

This collection of films includes many that play with form, showing radical new methods of storytelling. Others are astonishingly compact classic narratives. Fittingly for a group of emerging filmmakers, these films focus on coming-of-age, transitory times and places, and finding your place in a bustling world. And while this program offers a trip around the world (and under the sea), it all comes back to the creative vibrancy of New York.
