Come out for the SPACING OUT Party & Report Release to celebrate the successful completion and release of seven reports from NOCD-NY’s profile series, Innovative Cultural Uses of Urban Space. They will share key recommendations and have some of the authors and featured artists on hand for short Q&As.
Learn more about promising approaches to connect cultural programming to outdoor public spaces, vacant lots and construction sites; find out about successful cultural partnerships in public buildings and religious facilities; and navigate the challenges of co-managed spaces and the creative re-use of existing buildings. Or just mix and mingle with other artists, cultural and community leaders who are doing this work. Refreshments will be served!
