The Kings County Cinema Society is debuting a new venue for them at the sweet new space called Charles Place. They are psyched to host a showcase/fundraiser for Brooklyn Media House (BKMH), a brand new full scale production company for New York’s best and boldest borough.

-8-9pm:Shorts, trailers & music videos from Brooklyn Media House and collaborators
-9pm:Screening of William Friedkin’s The French Connection (1971, 105min), quintessential BK filmmaking, for those who want to stick around.

The subject of the forthcoming BKMH documentary Project Nihon, Meghan Keane, will display artwork from the film. Also: reception with complimentary wine and mingling with artists and filmmakers behind BKMH.
