Join the Prospect Park Alliance at the Audubon Center for its annual Earth Day celebration.

  • Fishing Lessons, 1–4 p.m.
    Enjoy this fun introduction to catch-and-release fishing. Alliance naturalists will teach participants how to tie a fishing knot, attach bait and cast a line to a try and hook a fish!
  • Raptor Meet and Greet 1–3 p.m.
    Get face to face with real birds of prey.
  • Nature’s Helpers, 2–3 p.m.
    Learn how to keep Prospect Park healthy by cleaning up the lakeshore or spreading mulch.
  • Bash the Trash Performance & Parade, 3–4 p.m.
    Make instruments out of recycled materials then jam out in an exciting performance and parade led by Bash the Trash.
