They will return to Launchpad in Crown Heights to enjoy a local short plus Nicolas Roeg’s haunting, poetic and trailblazing Outback drama Walkabout (1971, UK, 100min). A young boy and girl from so-called civilized society are abandoned in the harsh and unforgiving Australian Outback, rescued and befriended by a young Aborigine on his ritual “walkabout.” Beautifully filmed on location in Australia’s Northern Territory.  Stick around after the movie to meet new friends.
