HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival: Kramer vs. Kramer

The nation’s premier outdoor film festival brings classic films to the big screen for the 17th consecutive year. Thousands of movie fans flock to the park for picnics and an evening of film’s biggest stars in Bryant Park. The lawn opens at 5 p.m. and the films start at sunset.

This week’s presentation is “Kramer vs. Kramer” Dustin Hoffman won an Oscar for his role as a father who will go to any length (even making French toast) to keep custody of his son. Meryl Streep is unmatched as his icy wife who walks out on him and returns to claim the boy, who is played by Oscar nominee Justin Henry. Robert Benton directs one of best acted films of the decade.
