NYR Studios presents “Hipsters and Hassids,” a one-night exhibition and gallery party featuring a new painting series by Elke Reva Sudin. This event is open to the public, and gallery visitors will enjoy live performances, celebrity guests, and surprises throughout the evening.

Event will include:

Solo painting exhibition confronting the effects of economic downturn, artistic upturn, mixed cultural identity and common ground in the urban-digitally influenced culture of the recession. Works include large portraits, urban landscapes, Hipsters, Hassids, and everything in between.

Live performances by Hui Cox Jazz, The Aboriginals, Nehedar, Ariel Jacobson, Mike Romeo, stand-up comedy by TJ Del Reno and headlining band Deep Sound Diver. You can also expect some crowd mingling performers like Ben Richter on the accordion, as well as other surprise guests.
