The International Black Film Festival in Partnership with the New York Society for Ethical Culture Present “THE LAST SUPPER” a film by Tomas Gutierrez Alea. Join them for a Screening, Discussion, Networking. There will also be “FREE POPCORN”. “The Last Supper” depicts how Christianity was used as a means of hegemony by Slave owners. Feature Film is a moral tale of a slave owner who decides to improve his soul and instruct his slaves in Christianity by inviting 12 of them to participate in a re-enactment of the “Last Supper”.
