3rd Ward is offering a free, monthly, theme-based lecture series.  In conjunction with The Mad Science Issue they’ll inaugurate this program with the Science of the Everyday inspired by the work of Michael Faraday. This weeks lecture will be The Science behind the Fluids around Us. From the human circulatory system to large scale atmospheric circulation, the movement of fluid has directed evolution on earth and etched a signature throughout the solar system. Presented by Jonathan Colby, hydrodynamic engineer at the local renewable energy company, Verdant Power.
