KCCS has invited Plug Ugly Films to present rarities and new works, and the BK-based production studio is using the chance to celebrate their eleventh birthday… Join Director Michael Sladek and collaborators, drink cheap whiskey and visit ghosts from Plug past and Ugly future, with film clips and readings and more. At our old favorite, Freddy’s Bar and Backroom in South Slope.

Plug Ugly Films Inc. was founded in 2000 out of Brooklyn NY and functions in collaboration with multiple filmmakers, producers, musicians and artists. Michael Sladek is the director of the excellent recent docu-comedy feature CON ARTIST, available now on DVD.
This will be a night of shorts, music videos, readings, and other odd bits of cinematic excellence. Check our site for a music video from Plug Ugly.
