Do mark your calendar for Schoolfest! This wonderful event is Co-sponsored by both NYC Councilmembers, Diana Reyna and Steve Levin. This is the only school fair in NYC that invites all schools (day care to high school, private & public) in one neighborhood (in this case, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, and Bushwick) – to a single venue to promote their schools & programs to prospective students and parents.  They also invite all service providers for  children in their neighborhood. In addition, they will have Boricua, Cornell and Yale coming – because kids can’t be too young to be thinking about colleges!  They will be having wonderful FREE workshops presented by Joyce Szuflita of NY SchoolHelp (normally $30 pp, $45 for a family) to help understand and navigate the complicated NYC public school application process.
