Join the South Street Seaport Museum for an evening of Free arts and cultural programming on the third Friday of every month. Visit their museum galleries and and their Pier 16 ships Peking,and Ambrose for free admission during special extended hours from 5-9 PM.Enjoy the Museum’s historic ships with free harbor sails throughout the evening.

Free Harbor sails depart from Pier 16 behind Peking. Tickets may be picked up at 12 Fulton St. on June 18th beginning at 5pm. One ticket per person, no reservations. Passenger totals are defined and limited by the US Coast Guard. Rain or shine. Sorry, no rain checks.

Passengers, and those on the Wait List, must be in front of Pioneer on Pier 16 by 5:50 / 7:50 to be ready to board. Anyone late will forfeit their space. Children of any age must be ticketed; the US Coast Guard counts each person aboard as a ticketed passenger, included in the total capacity, no matter what their age. Pioneer can accommodate 40 passengers. There will be a short Wait List for any last minute openings.Pioneer sails rain or shine. The ship may sail in the rain, or with a chance of rain. The Captain will cancel only if conditions are dangerous, such as lightning or National Weather Center warnings. The decision to cancel is made at the time of sailing, not in advance, except when extreme conditions are known to be imminent. No rain checks are given for free sails
