Bags for the People and 3rd Ward have partnered up to bring you “Sweatshop Socials” every last Monday of each month, from 7 to 10pm. You bring the fun and fabric; they’ll provide the sewing machines, instruction, more fabric, live music from the Sweatshop house band, Free Advice, and free beer from Pabst Blue Ribbon. ‘Cause everybody knows plastic is passe. And if you haven’t finished your costume for Halloween, bring it on over and they’ll help you stitch it up! Donations are welcomed and suggested price is $10.
