Come and blast your vocal chords out at the 80’s Sing-Along at Legion. And as always FREE!

Who needs VH1? Brooklyn, you’re getting the 1980’s brought right to you and it sure as hell is cheaper than a cable subscription. After 2 90’s Sing-Alongs it’s only fair I give the 80’s their due. New Wave, Power Ballads, androgynous men, geeks with synthesizers, stadium rockers at their finest, JOURNEY, Madonna, hair bands and countless other artists and subgenres from the 80’s are getting jam packed in this over 2 hour/30 plus video long 80’s Sing-Along masterpiece!

Some of the best and craziest 80’s music videos will be projected on screen with subtitles for everyone to sing-along to together. No microphones. No requests. Just sit back (or stand up and dance since there is limited seating) and let your voices combine to relive some 80’s moments that we’ve either forgotten or were too young to enjoy the first time around.

We’re going to have an 80’s Costume Contest and an Air Guitar Competiton (feel free to bring your own song or rock out to some pre-picked 80’s guitar wailing video moments) with sick prizes including free tickets to the Awesome 80’s Prom at Webster Hall, free drinks and more! Come early for a pre-show full of 80’s TV and movie magic.

After the show we’re going to have DJ’s in two rooms: I’ll be keeping the video inspired good times going in the back with a music video dance party and DJ FULLTIMEFUN and Alain D  will be up front busting out their Don’t Be a Menace set of sweet sweet jams with mind exploding lasers. Fucking lasers, man! It’s a straight up 80’s vs. 90’s street fight.

As always Legion will have its recession friendly drink specials with $3 Atomic Lagers and $5 Tecate/Schlitz and a shot specials!
