Last week I got invited to a Bar opening/tasting for Gramercy Park’s newest bar The Exchange. Besides well made drinks, and great food I really love when a bar has a great concept. Imagine if your drink prices were determined by demand like it is on the stock exchange. Well that’s exactly how it works at the Exchange Bar. In theory you can gather a large group of friends and even recruit your fellow bar patrons to order the same drinks or food items and the price will drop. They even have a cool ticker across the bar that tells you when a price has dropped or specials. After tasting a few things on their menu I was pleasantly surprised by their wings. They were a perfect mix of spicy, crispy, with just enough sauce. So if you looking for a fun time you should definitely give this bar a try. Plus they’re offering a special where you can receive a free glass of wine or beer with any entrée (over $9) now through April 15th, 2010 when you mention the code word “market price.” For more info click here.
