From Littlefield:

Dubbed Best Oddball Night by New York Magazine, URDB World Record Appreciation Society makes its Brooklyn debut at littlefield for an extraordinary evening of live world records. The event is a charity benefit featuring an array of performers from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, This American Life, Comedy Central and more!

Hosted by URDB co-founders Dan Rollman and Corey Henderson (as seen on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon), this spectacular event will feature over 10 world record attempts live onstage. As always, Brooklyn’s own MIKE GAMBLE’s Second Wind will serve as the house band, and illustration legend, Michael Arthur will be on hand to draw the event live as it happens. The night will feature an eclectic lineup of performers setting unique and creative world records. Recent records set at past events include Largest Group “Meow” Rendition Of ‘Lean On Me’ and Fastest Time To Name All Star Trek TV Episodes In Broadcast Order.

Named “2009 Site of the Year” by URLesque.com, the Universal Record Database is an open platform for world records. Launched in November 2008, URDB.org hosts over 5,000 world records. The site has been featured on Good Morning America, CNN, The Tyra Show, Fox and Friends and CBS Sunday Morning, and makes regular appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. They have a book deal with Workman Publishing, and a TV pilot in development with NBC.
