Join the United Nations Association Southern New York State Division, the UNA-USA Young Professionals of Southern New York, the UNA Council of Organizations and the UN Departments of Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support for a Free screening of  “The War Against War” . The Film takes an in-depth look at United Nations Peacekeeping Operations around the world. It answers questions such as “why peacekeeping?” and “what are the challenges?” The documentary focuses particularly closely on the work of the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti and shows how peacekeepers responded to the devastating earthquake in January 2010.
