Brooklyn Based presents a food-themed swap so you can get rid of the cookbooks you haven’t read in forever, the gadgets you never use, your unopened spices, and trade up for fresh cooking goods. Winners of the online raffle will be announced at the event, too. A third of the proceeds will benefit St. John’s Bread and Life. Raffle tickets (on sale now) include:
-a day behind the counter at The Meat Hook
-$100 gift certificates at Frankies 457 and at Roman’s
-a day with Ben Flanner at Brooklyn Grange Farm
-2 tickets to Roberta’s Wine and Cheese Garden Party

***Admission is $5 plus an item to trade. Saranac Imperial IPAs and Stouts are $2 a half pint, $3 a bottle.
