Come check out this Free Official CMJ event. Mike Servito can really move a dance floor, fearless in his seamless transitions. He’s an NYC transplant, but his style is unmistakably Detroit, inspired by the Motor City radio of the ’80s and its local DJs in the ’90s, coming of age in its flourishing electronic music scene. SV4 (a.k.a. Sam Valenti IV) founded Ghostly International, home to two of America’s finest independent record labels, Ghostly and Spectral Sound. SV4’s diverse DJ’ing style reflects classic disco, house and techno sounds, and the newest electronic mutations.
