Here at TV Party central, we’ve received a lot of separate requests for Mr. Show, Kids in the Hall, The Whitest Kids U Know, The State, and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! So we’ve come up with a most delicious plan to satisfy all TV Party tastes, a sketch comedy buffet! Join us on Tuesday, April 5th for TV Party: Best of Sketch Comedy. We’ll have our favorite episodes from all those programs and more (because we gotta make room at the table for an appetizer or two from the Ben Stiller show).
Hey Everybody, it’s Bob and David…on the big screen! Check out classic Mr. Show skits like “Drugachusettes”, “Titannica,” and “The Story of Everest.” Then unforgettable Kids in the Hall sketches- including “The Chicken Lady” and a group sing-along to “These are the Daves I know.” How bout a rap-along to the “Dinosaur Rap” by The Whitest Kids U Know? Can you handle the mind-melting special FX of Tim and Eric- Awesome Show Great Job!? Plus skits from the State and maybe a little “Skank” from the Ben Stiller show.
Like all TV Party shows, there’ll be live entertainment mixed in. We’ll have a fine collection of live sketch comedy on stage, featuring sketch groups from various NYC schools (like UCB and the Pit). There’ll be contests for drinks and prizes, great rare footage from the shows, and audience competitions- a mustardayonnaise spreadin’ match, anyone?
