‘Videoteca del Sur’ Presents:Free Screening of Danzak & Le Americana

Danzak (Gabriela Yepes, Peru, 2008, 20 min.) Tells the story of Nina, a ten year old girl whose father and Master Dancer asks her to fulfill her last wish.The free screening will be followed by La Americana (Nicholas Bruckman, USA, 2008, 65 min.). Le Americana follows an undocumented immigrant’s journey from Bolivia to New York and back. Her unforgettable story is woven into the current immigration crisis in US.
